What are the limitations of AI-generated sessions?

AI-generated sessions are a wellbeing tool, not a form of care. They cannot diagnose, treat, or replace professional judgement, and they work only with the information and the framework they are given.

What AI-generated sessions cannot do

  • Diagnose medical or mental health conditions
  • Provide therapy or psychological treatment
  • Replace a healthcare professional or their judgement
  • Understand your situation the way a human clinician would

They work within boundaries

Sessions are generated inside a structured methodology developed by experts in psychology, coaching, mindfulness, self-hypnosis, and behaviour change. That framework keeps sessions consistent and safe, but it also means a session will not step outside it to address something complex or clinical.

They only know what you share

Personalization is based on the information you provide. Nuance you leave out, or context that is hard to put into words, will not be reflected in the session. This is not a flaw in your answers, it is a limit of the format.

What this means in practice

Use Subrise for relaxation, reflection, motivation, and personal growth. If something feels bigger than that, treat the session as a support alongside qualified care rather than as a replacement for it.

When should I seek professional support?

If you are experiencing significant emotional distress, mental health concerns, or symptoms that interfere with daily life, please reach out to a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact emergency services or a crisis helpline.

Reset. Reflect. Rewire.
